Let us hope that our recent enforced abstinence from morning coffee helps us to fully value the effect our Sunday after-Mass get-togethers have on the spirit of our community. If we love God, if we believe in Jesus Christ, if we trust in the glory revealed in the mystery of Christmas and Epiphany, then we in turn must love one another, so that our daily lives continue to manifest God in our day. It's good to see so many lovely familiar faces, and that the new and greatly improved refreshment area is once again a hub of the OLMSJ community. Establishments such as Lounges and The Stanwell may have waiting staff and substantial menus, but you can't manufacture or employ a sense of real warmth and shared enthusiasm and values. The new kitchen area is very user-friendly as well as looking so smart. One minor point: more drying-up cloths please. Then we wouldn't have to "borrow" from Fr Dan and risk disturbing his perfected linen shelf...
