Are you Charlie ?

To be or not to be Charlie what does it mean?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/worldnews/11336506/Paris-shooting-Gunmen-storm-Charlie-Hebdo-magazine-office-in-pictures.html

In the light of the most recent atrocities occurring in France against the Charlie Hebdo magazine followed by the " I am Charlie " campaign: We as Christians must be prepared to defend our beliefs...
It was interesting to note the recent less publicised attacks on nativity scenes in Germany by Muslims, who smashed up a crib within a church. Coupled with the recent banning of a nativity scene by a court in France. Even here in cities such as Liverpool the authorities have accepted Muslim objections to display nativity scenes in public places, as had been the tradition for centuries

In a recent French survey 86% of the French voted that a nativity scene should be allowed in a public place. In the interests of political correctness however, some argue it is only right to ban the symbols of christ.  The complete madness of banning nativity scenes and even Christmas or new year celebrations, is to the vast majority completely unaccetable and insane.
We appear to live in a world that has the minority dictating how the rest of us should live. By inducing a fear to speak out and remain the ever silent majority. The recent events have proven it is no longer safe to turn a blind eye and allow others to destroy the life Christ wanted us to live.
It is essential that we support our church and Christian beliefs and remain vigilant in the continuing fight against those who wish us harm.
So it is perhaps time to not say i am Charlie
But more

I am Christian ...and I believe in Christ
