HOUSE MASS FOR MARY’S NINETY-FIRST

Last Thursday Fr Danny celebrated Mass in Mary’s flat on her 91st birthday. Why only four candles left on the cake? Did you blow away the other eighty-seven, Mary?
I've only met Mary a couple of times but it was easy to see why she is much loved; very appreciative of every kindness and extremely gracious herself. And another yummy, chocalety cake! Ronnie Barker would have told you that you only need fork 'andles with a cake like this...

In answer to the question of 'four candes' - the cluster of 3 candles denoted Mary's 90 years - plus 1 candle for the other year.
